Below are the 10 key skills you need to know to deliver engaging online and blended courses using VCC Moodle:

 


Organizing your course in Moodle is crucial for creating a smooth and engaging learning experience for your students. When your course is well-structured, it becomes easier for students to navigate and find the resources they need, which can significantly enhance their learning efficiency and satisfaction.

In Moodle you can decide when/whether your students can see an entire course, or parts of a course.

Show/Hide an entire course

  1. Select Settings from the top of the course page:
  2. Under General, set the course visibility to Hide or Show.

 

Show/Hide a section of a course

With editing for the course turned on, click the Edit button beside a section name and choose Show section or Hide section:

 

Show/Hide individual resources and activities

With editing for the course turned on, click the Edit button beside a resource or activity and choose Show or Hide:

Moodle's Assignment activity enables students to enter or upload a response directly into the Moodle course, and allows instructors to grade and provide feedback.
